Container Disposal

Containers that previously held compound must be disposed of following local and federal requirements. Containers with less than 1” (2.5 cm) of product or 3% of the original net weight are exempt from U.S. RCRA Subtitle C.

Empty containers may contain hydrocarbon residues which could explode or ignite leading to serious injury and possibly death. Do not expose empty containers to sources of heat or flame including but not limited to welding, soldering, cutting, grinding or drilling.

Empty containers should be thoroughly cleaned prior to proper disposal. They should never be used to contain or hold food or water for consumption.
